That's what my son said. We just happened to be at the kitchen window at just the right time. I wouldn't even have seen her but for him saying look at that white bird!

I wonder how far a pet parakeet could fly. We are a good 20 to 30 miles away from the nearest fire. Evenings lately have been cold too. I just assumed she had escaped the day we found her, but maybe she has been out longer. I hope she'll be okay.

Have you named her already? I have a few suggestions ... Sparky. Ember. Hope. Milagro (Miracle, in Spanish).

I got a thrill today. I am going to guess it was a rabbit but I dont know for sure. I went out to check for Zsquash and something run right between my legs ! I froze stiff. From the corner of my eyes I seen something fuzzy run into the woods behind me. I did finally get a zsquash today. Its the first one ! I also gathered 12 smallish/med. sized tomatoes and had to toss 3 of them. Ants were eating them. Had big holes in them. I used some sevin dust on the plants. The ants in the house finally disappeared yesterday. Robert said the 3rd poison trap was empty. He said they ran out of food in the house and went after the tomatoes. I know the yard was infested w/ ants last year. Havent looked this yr.
Poor Bandit is miserable and I dont know what to do. I put hartz poison on him and he hasnt stopped digging at himself since. Hair clumps are everywhere. He got a shower last night and he slept for a solid 4 hrs after that but he is right back at it today. Other 2 are not effected at all.

Hello I have been reading in here but not said hello to everyone , how is everyone doing,?

@Beer can . I hope I've got the right person. Were you chatting about A2 milk? On looking in at a ridiculous hour my end I came across a conversation on the subject but for the life of me I can't find it now .
My question is, would anyone know if this milk sold anywhere in uk? Plus on the buckwheat flour, are there any recipes to make bread a little lighter when using it. I should go into the bakers section but a little too tired this morning

It was on the old folks home. I've been on Granny's thread a couple time's, she's a ROCK STAR! I don't follow her thread much though moves too fast I can't keep up not into fast threads I don't get online much to keep up. I'm sure someone else here already commented on your question but I'm sure somewhere in the UK they have a2 milk. If not just look for a dairy that has older, more non production type breeds of cows. We have a lot of small dairy farms now producing their own milk for sale, marketing their own.

Never heard of that. She's eating and pooping, so for now I'm just going to keep that room warm and a little humid and let her sleep as much as she likes. Lupin will have to wait to get cosy with her... if she ever allows it.

That's a lot of math! That's the bright side of not having goats or chickens... they aren't destroying your plants. Spike jumped up on kitchen window sill and knocked off my pretty African violet. Spike can be a jerk sometimes.

I have always wanted a white shepherd. Nuts to my husband pointing out the dirtiness of crazy not-so-white chicken...

hubs is going to have to deal with us having another boy in our life.

Congratulations!! White shepherds are pretty and the guys have dark noses, so no worry about sunburn. What's the puppy ETA? Early October?

Welcome to Grannys Marie, Beer can isnt on this thread and I never heard of A2 milk but as was said, I am nosy ! What is it ? There is a mod. here named Yorkshires coop from your neck of the woods I think. She is good people and very smart ! Maybe she can answer your questions?
