I have a half donkeyed sore throat.
I took mama out of the tank w/ the littles. I hope they do good. They should of been swimming around and she is keeping them in the corner. LOL Anyway, she was stressed.

Temperature had dropped below 80.. But grass is too wet to mow now.. Win Win!

We got rain this morning and a few rumbles of thunder. Our rain gauge said somewhere around a quarter of an inch but we will take whatever we can get as we have big cracks in the ground right now.

My two week olds are growing like weeds and have their wing feathers in. Meanwhile, every one else is molting and feathers are everywhere. I'm still getting eggs though so they can loose all the feathers they want!

My lil boogie butts are a week ahead of yours. I got a mix of BO's, Marans, and EE's with a Bielefelder or two in there. I love one of the Marans as he is growing in gray feathers, so more than likely he'll be a blue.. But then I have one that has a light grayish/tan head and feathers to match.. he's just adorable. Hoping out of this batch I have at least half pullets.. Combs are starting to develop now. And a few, like one of the orphingtons and the gray marans are huge compared to the rest. 3 others are 'supposed to be EE's, but two of them honestly are looking more and more like splash marans. I love them all any way!

Bandit got his baking soda and vinegar bath. As I was cleaning the bathroom he was rolling on my bed.
