Granny's gone and done it again

Did you hand him the can of grout give him a kiss on the cheek and tell him to have fun and you really appreciate his offer to help out!?

Tell him my favorite kitchen saying:

My house is clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy.

If he wants it any different hand him the broom and dust cloth.
Well he already does the shopping for food, preparing supper and does his own laundry and loads and unloads the dishwasher. He does vacuum sometimes and sweep.

I love dark chocolate.

@h2oratt, it's probably good I'm in self imposed lock down to stay healthy this summer because I almost work myself into a stroke when I drive by an Amish farm and see a black horse standing out in the noon sun when it's 90 degrees outside under full tack. My father served in the US Calvary pre WWII. Think Col Potter on MASH where he was in their exhibition riding team. He would do Roman riding and pyramid jumping so I inherited his love for horses. To see a horse standing out in the heat without shade and working in a harness with galls is almost more than I can stand.

Then there is the puppy mill problem...

When we bought our farm we quickly discovered that you can be neighbors, you can be cordial but forget being friends. There is a huge chasm between us and them.
I had no idea the Amish had puppy mills! 🤯

I just went out to close the garage and discover I left the lid off one of the feed barrels. And it rained hard. Luckily only one unopened bag of feed in there and one nearly empty.
Oh and there was a big branch in the driveway near my flower garden. Glad I wasn't there when it fell!
