Granny's gone and done it again

I need to get some clothes on... (been cooling off since I got done with the mowing and weed eating) and go pay the water bill, and get some more chicken wire. I can send Cap some when I'm done with the coops.
You use chicken wire on your coops?

Va should !
Well, if it's an actual egermency, then between Medicare and VA, the bill is covered.. however.. Routine checkups have to be APPROVED FIRST, then the Insurance agency sends you an authorization letter. bla bla bla... I was under First Choice, but that program has been replaced, TriWest Healthcare (INS) is only available in western states now.. There's supposedly a contract with a new company for eastern states, but on their web site they don't show coverage for eastern states.. so now, you figure it out. I tried to get in the clinic at Monroeville (50 miles from me) but they had no openings. I'm stuck in a never ending cycle of WTF?

Cap, the coops are actually cattle panels, that are covered in chicken wire... I'm using the zip ties to secure the chicken wire to the cattle panels.. in addition, I'm covering the 'arch' dome with tarps... you shall see... I just can't afford the wire mesh, I got a piece in the bottom of the hen's house, 2'x 4', and it was expensive as all get out.

And here I thought someone went to town to pay the water bill... OOPS!

Those 12 footers on the right are to start repairing the front deck. The others are for um, chicken houses... lol
By the way, see that black trash can on it's side just inside the fence? I stuck that in there for Mollie (who's doing great by the way) because I noticed SP and Henri inside the barrel the other night, and poor Mollie perched on the cinder block just outside of the barrel in the rain.. as though she was no longer welcome in the barrel.. now she has a place to stay dry.

Industrial roll of chicken wire. I LOVE it!

Morning, afternoon, evening....Hope all is well and everyone is hanging in there. Between walking problem child dog, making bread and processing pumpkins for pie my computer time is at a premium today.

Next week we are going to be busy outside as our lumber arrives I think they said on Thursday, maybe Wednesday if the door we ordered comes in. So I'm trying to get things caught up in the house and shop. Oh who am I fooling, I'm trying to keep the path open and beat the dust bunnies back. It's like the joke, Cattle Dogs only shed twice a year, During hot weather and during cold! I swear they have the most wonderful coats that do not attract or hold any kind of burrs but they shed like chickens molt feathers. I can dust mop and vacuum the main area of the house (we have an open floor plan due to heating with wood), turn around and there are big old hair dust bunnies rolling across the floor like tumbleweeds. If it's not the dogs, it's the cats.

I keep threatening to shave them all bald but it'd just grow back.

I just made a grooming appt for Bandit tomorrow at 10. He woke up bleeding and its tiny little seeds.
My heart is still acting up. scared. Im not going to hospital. All my babies will die .

Granny, I am a retired nurse and also have been on cardiac meds since I was 26 years old.

Listen to your body. What is it telling you? Are you stressed out and causing yourself more stress from fear? Pls, your life is important, you are important. Is there somebody you can call to talk to? Some body who will take care of your babies for you?

I know you are scared. Trust me, I've been there too. But your heart is what is keeping you alive and hearing that you are having symptoms is scaring all of us.

Pls take care. :hugs
