We went to Lowes and I got 12 mum plants ( small ones). Hubby got stain and paint for the house. So we are going to be busier than ever.
I cleaned out half of the original coop, next to sweep and scrub and then paint. I figure bugs will have less places to hide if everything is well sealed with paint. It's been years since I built it.

I just put it on aluminum foil and broil it in the toaster oven. 20 minutes while I do something else.

Sooooooooo, sitting here drinking my coffee, I had orange grits and a cheese omelette after mowing the front and back yards (what is properly back yards). Then took the weed eater to the berm in front of the house, and right-away. Then picked up piles of branches I had throw at the base of the big trees near the house and got those all picked up. Then sprayed some kudzu that was popping up with Roundup. All the kids are fed, and I'm just relaxing before heading out to work on the rooster roost and the hoop coops. Got to get those done.. Also going to divide the big run into halves at some point. Currently using deer netting to do that with but not happy with it. I have to get something done here, so I can have space for the little ones. I'm going to move Henri's Habitat out behind the big run since it's level there,, add hoops to it and cover it. That will be an 8 x 12' run for the EE's when they get bigger.

You do know roundup can cause cancer and is not good to use around animals.

Cap, I have been thinking on them polish and Im thinking I would dust them once a month no matter what. The mites are just drawn to them and they seem to kill them faster then anything.

I have made it in the oven but seems to take forever and makes a mess.

I cook mine in the instapot.

Hi H2o, 111 degrees ! YIKES. An air cond. wont be able to keep up w/ that. Stay safe.
