Granny's gone and done it again

ok today--had a weird incident yesterday. Hubby was in hay field and a bee flew into his ear! hurt horribly and wouldn't come out. I took him to ER and they couldn't get it out either so they drowned it with some solution. I have to take him to specialist today for bee removal. otherwise, same old same old! hope your burning mouth starts to feel better
Wow, that is weird.

Rain all night and all day so far and only 49 degrees. Almost in shock. Nice to be getting all this rain though.
Teach, can't imagine how your dh feels having a bee stuck in his ear and the drs can't get it out. Hope someone finds a solution quickly. The first crazy thought that ran through my old brain was to blow into the opposite ear and blow it out. I swear I don't know what my kids are gonna do with me one of these days.
That only works on some people Pert. LOL
I would ask my dad, What am I gonna do with you and he answered Just love me and leave me alone.

We had the same thing here, Pert, no bees in ears thank goodness but we had three inches of rain between 6 and around 9 AM. They are calling for more tonight. Don't know where all the moisture is coming from. Usually when we get this much rain it's from a hurricane or tropical storm that has made landfall down in the gulf somewhere. But they are calling for rain through Saturday here.

Bee in the ear. Not like Bee in the Bonnet. Much more uncomfortable. Sure hope they are able to extract it. Surprised that they couldn't get it out in the ER.

Bet they didn't study removing bees from ears in school.

Danged I have some crazy friends on FB.. One is particularly funny when it comes to chickens, chicks... All he can say is Yummmmmmmm... Or post funny pics on my timeline.

I would have tried flushing it out with warm water in a big syringe.

I was telling DH about it. He said the doc he brought his practice from had a pair of articulated forceps with ultra fine grasps on it. He said he took them with him when he retired but wish he hadn't. those would have been perfect for getting the bee out where it didn't belong.
