years ago,daughter won a goldfish at a carnival. It lived in a bowl for a week. I went to pet store and got a 10gal tank set up---the works! and got "Lucky" 3 friends. the friends lasted about a week, but that damn carnival fish grew huge and lived over a year!

Its usually the other way around ! I have a story for that !

I was all of 9 yrs old and visiting my dad. My friend and I went to a street carnival then went to a bar to ask dear ol dad for some $. He was with my friends dad. Well he pulled out $5. and handed it to me then friend said, Thats the best you can do? and handed us a 10. back and forth they went til we walked out of there with more cash then any kid should have . LOL My friend and I kept winning those fish and making trips home. I loved them even then. Dad woke up the next day to some 50 odd bowls of goldfish floating belly up all over the house . Hahahaaa We had a grand ol time.

My DH was just talking about the salt water fish we used to have. The colors and how pretty they were.

I would love to have sea horses again.
