I was checking the nest boxes and found one of my hens hanging out in the bottom of the coop. This seems to be a bad year for chickens.

I don't think so. I gave her OJ and set her up in the coop with a small heater that turns off if it gets tipped over. Then I covered over the hardware cloth areas with plastic or glass or feed bags.

I won’t buy chicks from TSC or the feed store. Supposedly I had a chicken die or mareks so I just keep breeding what I have.
