Hey Wishing, 15 pages you had ! Hows the smoke ?

No smoke. It's all blowing away from us. The fires near us are pretty much contained. We actually had a tiny bit of drizzle a few days ago. Not enough to put out a fire, but every bit helps. Now it's hot. I had to wait until the sun was down to clean up the brush from tree trimming and get it all in the bins to go out tonight. Did you remember?

News update just came on the tv. Glass fire is 95% contained!

Is it solid wood brooders ? Maybe a blanket /towels over the doors. Any hand warmers?

I could always box the chicks up and put them in my bathroom. Guess I will do that if the power is not back on by one a.m.
