I called the doctor office for an appointment, they won't see me because I have a sore throat and cough. Their suggestion, go to ER in Danville or Lynchburg.

Is it something urgent you need to go in for?
That's one if the things I dislike so much about all of this covid stuff. Lots of doctors won't see or treat patients for anything basic anymore and when you go to the hospital I've heard so many horror stories of them treating people incorrectly or focusing only on covid and overlooking other severe problems. It's made even scarier because you can't even have an advocate with you. You're alone.

They probably want to test you for covid. My daughter was feeling bad about a week or ten days ago. She went to the clinic and they told her she had a sinus infection. She got to feeling even worse so she went back. The nurse told her we have to test you for covid because you have all the signs and you definitely have it. Have to wait 5 days for results. Her boss at work needs her and says go get a quick test. She did and the result was negative but the nurse still wouldn't release her to work until she got the results of the other test. Well it came in a couple of days later as negative. It's all pretty frustrating. Nurse was so positive.

My drs office has a room just for suspected Covid cases and they test there.

It sounds like a horrible place. They didn’t treat you very well.
