Thanks. I love his big brown eyes. I didn't trim the rest of him, just feet, face, ruff. He's still pretty scruffy, but clean at least.
Funny little dog... huge barrel chest and narrow hips. Poodle/terrier maybe?

Here's most of my critters. That's Gracie, my Sheltie, supervising the afternoon buffet. Big George, the BJG cockerel, is at the rear of the line, while Silverwings, the backyard blended rooster, tends to his ladies, making sure everyone is adequately served.

I miss my Sheltie. Maybe I will get another some day.

Actually I got smart last time. I got one for The Kid. I am getting too old and decrepit to house-train, groom, exercise, groom, train and groom a Sheltie. And did I mention, groom?

Designer mutt! He was a stray, unneutered, and unkempt when he showed up. He certainly wasn't leading a designer life.

He has a great temperament, good around people, good around house cats and the chickens. Turns into a Rottweiler when he gets around other dogs.

I would rather groom a Sheltie than a German Shepherd. The Shepherd sheds 24/7 . The Shelties would blow coat a time or 2 each year. I would just comb it out.
