Yes, I saw that too. Weird. I never did have to spray the birds, just the coop. Those dang red mites.

Mine are only small breeds. Lionheads, Mini Rex and Holland Lops. Big ones cost too much to feed.

I bought a bale of Timothy hay for Sherman. Lasted a LONG time! He only got a small amount of pellets to keep him from getting fat.

ROFL, you only need a couple fingers. But if you spat cocke them, then you find it easier. They are easier to clean in my opinion, than a chicken.

You skin them, right? I had considered trying quail a few years ago and watched a video on killing and processing them. Looked much easier than a chicken to me, but I've never done either so far. We're a bunch of big wimps around here!
