Granny's gone and done it again

My son Robert, his dad killed himself when Robert was just a couple months old. Said he was going to. Didnt want to be a dad . Shot himself through the heart.

We made each other laugh every day, Granny. He only had months to live when we got together, but he lived over three years. I think because of the love and the hope and the laughter. We were together on 9/11 and I thought how blessed we were that every day was a gift to us. I felt so sad for so many people who lost loved ones that day and never knew that was going to be their last breakfast together.

It wasnt his fault. The drs told me it was impossible to get pregnant. I even took fertility pills at one point. He took my word. Drs. called him a miracle child

Been married 10 years and I'm 67 now. So I guess I was 57. Just a spring chicken, lol.

Just seems like yesterday though, that we got married.

I think Im too old to ever remarry. Healthwise. I have nothing to offer a man.
