Oil supposedly not leaking and half a qt over full.
Radiator or hose. He thinks hose not sure. $70.total to fix.
On the way my window fell down and I froze the whole way.(no heat) because no water in the radiator. IF its the radiator $350.00 to $450 to fix. Window and labor $400.00 to fix. So anywhere from $420 to $850.00 for repair. IF I mathed right.
I have $450.00 Heres the bigger problem. He dont want us waiting . He said not trying to be rude but he dont want us breathing down his neck. I will HAVE to leave Tom home (and boy is he pissed) and walk around for many hrs. I cant walk.

To him I say

Tough ! He wasn't trying to accommodate you in any way, not for convenience nor price. I will NOT give people like that my business. He obviously doesn't want yours. Too many nice people out there to be paying for that bad karma.
Always be prepared to walk away get a second or third quote.

If the motor is gone on the window, and it's too much $$ right now, ask if he can wedge it closed somehow. Just to get you through winter or until you save enough for the repair.

Fingers crossed it's just the stupid hose.

This one is too and I could not get all the minerals out but I think I can save it. Google is your friend. I will probably have to lay down several layers of seasoning (Solid Crisco) but I have saved a couple of skillets, so I'm optimistic.
