I just keep telling myself that I am lucky. There are people in the world who are suffering more than I am. I can still take care of my chickens, I can still go for walks in the woods with my husband and dogs. I can still take care of the house with his help. I may be moving slower and more carefully, I may have to lie down on the sofa for an hour or so a day and depend on prescription pain killers, but I can still do some of the things that I love to do. I am blessed! It hurts me to know others suffer like I do.
I remember a snow in Denver that came up to the bottom of the windows! Three feet or so? But it was dry, light and fluffy, and I took pictures of it shortly afterward with the sky bright blue and the sun shining. A wet snow that deep like we have around here would damage roofs. We did have a wet heavy snow here a year or two ago I measured at 12". That was no fun to drive in. It hit real suddenly right after church, visibility was practically zero. Most snow I remember is 13 inches. That was a mess !
Big city. Like Cinncy, I imagine, or St Louis. Probably bigger.I would love to visit all these states. What was Denver like ?
