Thank you, Pert. I started with 2.5 c halves, set aside 1 c and chopped the remaining 1.5 c. I poured the filling over the chopped nuts and sprinkled the halves over the top. I agree it looks prettier, but it actually made it a little harder to cut and eat. Although it was stll a little warm when I cut it. Might have been okay on Day 2, cold.. I dono.Looks really good. I like that you used pecan halves. When I made them back in the 60's I used pecan pieces but your's looks prettier I think.
