Granny's gone and done it again

My dogs get into the litter box every chance they get. I used to try and make them stop then I thought, wait a min,. They are keeping the box clean for me ! Bahahahaaa gross
True that, but then they come up and breathe on you or kiss you. :sick Here mom, smell this! :smack

Expecting rain tomorrow. Since the new girls have their coop, the seramas have been spending the days in a ground cage and nights in a little pet carrier in the garage. But this set up won't work well in the rain.

So I set them up a rainy day pen today. I will still put the pet carrier in with them. They go inside the carrier when it gets dark and I don't have to catch them. Easy peasy!

At least they will be dry.
That's nice, Wishing!

That's good. Sammy is a somewhat dominant dog. When he needs disciplined, I grab some of the loose skin around his neck and hold him down. He hates that. Then I "growl" at him. I tell him in no uncertain terms what he did wrong and why I'm not going to put up with it and why he better straighten up and fly right or else. I keep this up in the most threatening tones until he relaxes, then I let him up. He gets up, shakes, grins, wags his tail and comes and licks me. All this is exactly the brhavior he would show a big dog that had held him down until he submitted. He "gets" it! He has come such a long way since we got him!
The R+ trainers wouldn’t agree with you but I have had a dogs were you only have to do it once and the dog will respects you after that.
