that one looks like a rooster to me.

She is the ringleader. She might end up naming herself Trouble.
From what I've heard about Delawares, that behavior is fairly standard.
And that one EE follows her around and copies everything she does. Reminds me of girls in Jr high! If one goes into the restroom, they ALL follow.

I seen that in high school. I always wondered why. I found it strange but I was a loner.

Oh and that makes perfect sense. Been there already. Sitting is hard . Your mind struggles against your body. If it wasnt for you guys to talk to I would be in the nut house.

Ditto! This thread is my lifeline. My contact with the world. You guys take my mind off the pain, you really do! I don't know what I would do without y'all but it wouldn't be pretty and it might end up on the six o'clock news! And nobody wants that ....

Howdy all! Sorry for all the aches and pains. I've got a few of my own, but got a lot done today.

Twist's card came today. Thank you!

In honor of the new chickens' one week anniversary, I put up a fence so they could have some outside time.

At first they didn't notice the open pop door.

But with a little encouragement from me, they finally got the idea.

It was fine until a couple of them figured the grass was greener on my side.

That's a 6' fence. I helped them get back down on the proper side. Got to fatten them up so they can't fly so easily.

As long as I wasn't up near their coop, they were content to stay behind the fence. They really do like people.

My birds fly like the wind.
