I can try. I drew rings around the air cell. This is kinda a last ditch hatch. Just a barnyard mixture of things that have survived my 4.5 years of having chickens. Nothing was laying so I took the egg a day I was getting and saved a weeks worth.

I heard a podcast last night eggs are the perfect food. Anyone convalescing should get lots of eggs.

Good morning everyone! We all slept in this morning. In fact some are still asleep! There is, however, a load of dishes that need cleaning. Sigh.

Granny, about soaking your foot... could you sit on the side up your tub and dangle your feet in the water? Maybe pretend you are fishing off a pier! You have such a nice view out the window there. Sit on a couple of thick towels so the tub rim doesn't dig in. Your bathroom was meant to be enjoyed.

Well the hatch I thought was happening this weekend is not.

I did borrow my friends incubator that I can use as a hatcher. I candled them and they only only like they are on week two.
That’s what I get for not writing it down. I don’t know when to put them in the hatcher.

We are in the same boat! I usually put duct tape on the incubator and write lock down date on it. So now I have no idea. I was hoping for Xmas chicks. I did see what could be a pip on one egg this morning.

I slept until almost noon, laid in the tub for an hour. Now I feel like I could go right back to sleep!
