So is anybody fixing black eyed peas and red eye gravy for New Years day good luck?

I've got black eyed peas soaking now. Never had been a red eye gravy fan. Does that mean only good luck for half the year?

I don't mind fire works or gun shots or anything else. You have to be careful with both and the way I see it, 2020 was such a pain in the butt that peeps have to bleed off stress and celebrate some way.

I would much rather they stay home and shoot off whatever they want to rather than be on the streets. Besides, it only lasts a few hours then everybody crashes till noon....if they have had too much liquid celebration. LOL.

Rough am already. I guess we lost electric for a couple hrs and the furnace didnt reset. It was freezing in here. I lost my babies and one filter.

Which day? My mother's was July 7th, my youngest daughter, July 17th. Six years isn't by much any more. LOL. When we were young, it would have been a lifetime. LOL.

I'm not worried about them blowing their fingers off, I am more worried, that they won't watch where they are pointing the dang thing, and accidently shoot through the wall and kill Lucy or myself. LOL

More chicky birds! YAY!

Had a bad hatch rate. I think half the eggs were not fertile. Only 17 chicks hatch, and one died during the night.
