My lonely little baby
Hopefully the other one pulls through for him. (Yes that is a warm water bottle... he cuddles up to it)

I am a bit messy when I paint, but I have a good time. I call it being artistic.I bet your real good at it too. I wsh we lived closer too. I would have chickens.
Is there a window near the tank with the algae? That could be the issue.Between mine and Toms chair is a 37 gal. tank I cant keep algae out of it. On my dresser is a 20 gal. I was thinking if I got a 50 gallon tank and swapped it for the 20 on the dresser I could then take the fish out of the 37 gal. and take that tank down. The fish would fit in the 50 with the ones in the 20.
Then I have a 40 gal. I really like where I cant see it so I could put that tank between our chairs and see it all the time.
This would be getting rid of one tank OR just my OCD making excuses ?
Use a razor blade. Its not on the fish. Its the lighting system. It coats the side of the glass and every thing I put in there. I have tried doing a black out and I cant even scrub the algae off . Its frustrating.
It's always there, but light makes it grow more. Why does the light cause algae?
The fish wouldn't bring in algae, but water , plants or ornaments could. And you are sure the fish won't bring the algae into a new tank? It came from somewhere.
Did you try adding aquarium salt?I think I just want this one gone and the nicer one put over here. What to do with the fish sent me looking for a bigger tank. They are keeping me from getting carpet w/ the stimulus money too. That needs to be saved anyway. Never know when something will come up again .
