depends on if you go field or bench breeding. There can be some hip displasia more so in the bench.

Bench/show they breed for looks first.

Field is for smarts and hunting ability.

I would just want a healthy dog for a pet. No more Shelties for me.

well they don't call springers the "velcro" dog for nothing, They NEED people BUT are great with children and VERY loving. Smart.

I have had a few who never did the same thing twice if they were punished for it. They would just 'tweak" one part and see if it was still a NO-NO.

I liked the 40 breeder best and I believe that amano shrimp LOVE hair alge to eat.
