Granny's gone and done it again

This ankle has always been weak. The other day I squatted down to give Gracie a treat, you know, kind of like if you were going to tie your shoes, and I just felt it go pop, and I let out a scream and that was it. I felt it in my knee, too. I just think the warranty has expired on my body and it's just falling apart all over! 😆
My surgeon was drunk. He crippled me for life. If you heard the pop you more then likely will need the surgery.. Just make sure you know the dr doing it has done plenty of them and knows what he is doing. I had to wear a boot for a solid year and it hurts me every day of my life . It never stops.

I think I’m going to try feeding him a bit earlier and see if that helps. I wonder if it’s teething related...or what’s going on.
They learn that if they ask, we will take them out. Every. Single. Time. )It's part of the process of learning to communicate, which is really pretty cool.) So what I do is take them out, in case they really need to pee, and give them like three minutes. If they haven't peed in that time, back to bed in the crate. To be ignored until morning. At this age they are not going to pee in the crate. It may mean I miss a night or two of sleep, but they do learn not to ask unless they really do need to go. They CAN hold it till morning.

That happened to me Blue. It required surgery.
Yeah, I'm hoping to get it looked at and have a boot put on it tomorrow. I know tendons don't heal on their own, so I figured surgery is the only option. Sigh. I thought I was supposed to see my regular dr Tuesday as a follow-up to being in the hospital, but I was mistaken. I see my doctor's PA tomorrow. I'm recovering pretty well, so I'm hoping we can talk about this ankle instead. Or "in addition to." Your surgery turned out to be a dismal failure though, right? 😕

Our bedroom is in the basement, and I really don't want to give that up, even temporarily, if I can help it. The kids' rooms are upstairs. The stairs are not standard, the risers are steep and the treads are narrow. The house was owner-built in 1960. We might have to see about getting one of those stair lifts. And hope they can make it work on these steep, narrow, stairs, lol! At least the stairwell is nice and wide. 😀

That dont mean yours will. I wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy
We have pretty good doctors around here, for the most part. And I will ask around and get references. I have relatives that are nurses so they know who's good and who to stay away from.

I wish I had that. He used anchors instead of screws in mine and no other drs will touch it now.
