it makes their vent contract much harder then normal and strong muscles down there help hold it in better . Worked for mine. I had my finger in there before and after tums and there was a huge difference.

Oh I know H2o but I have talked to her before about this situation and she told me then she will not call the pills in w/o an appt. They give me exactly enough to last me til the day of my appt.

I went for a flavor they would eat in fruit. No yellows or orange . I crumbled it up and mixed it in a scrambled egg. Since she is a serama I would do about 1/4th a tablet. I gave mine a whole tablet because she was a jub. orph

they sell something for this. a calcium citrate something in powdered form but the tums is the same thing.

It for sure wont hurt her and I believe it will help. It did mine anyway. I think I only gave it twice because thats all she needed but I lost her the following spring to un noticed prolapse

That's something I read... chance for prolapse to recur is very high. I hope Fudge is done laying eggs. She seems to be pooping okay with it in.

I had a serama prolapse once and I culled her straight away. She was severe and had an egg stuck to the dried up membrane as well. I noticed a rip in the ovaduct and she seemed to be in bad pain. That one bothered me pretty bad.
