Granny's gone and done it again

I had a serama prolapse once and I culled her straight away. She was severe and had an egg stuck to the dried up membrane as well. I noticed a rip in the ovaduct and she seemed to be in bad pain. That one bothered me pretty bad.
That sounds like a bad one. You saved her a lot of suffering. Fudge had a few bad days, but mostly you wouldn't have known she had a problem except for the duct hanging out her rear end.

You have gone about saving her differently then anyone else I have read and I expected her to die long while back. It will be interesting to know if she prolapses again or not.

Don't think it would have worked with a large hen. And certainly would have been worse in summer, with the longer days and evil flies.
Also, Fudge is a tough nut. Ornery as heck. We have bonded, though. :D Can't pay that much attention to another's backside without forming a special relationship!
