I wonder if the vet gives them the ame thing they give human s ? If so stimulating the nipples reproduces the same hormone that causes the contractions and moves the pup on down the birth canal. Did you put the new pups up to her ?

yep there is a shot the lets the milk down and caused contractions BUT if there is a pup in the birth canal it can tear the uterous and you with probably loose the mother.
