Still no power. Makes a person feel powerless!

Well, we're still hanging in here. Rolling blackouts lasts about two hours then we have electric for maybe ten hours before shutting down again. Kitchen water freezes then thaws, back and forth. When the electric is out, all the heat I have is the cook stove which is a big help. I just close off everything but the kitchen and livingroom and bundle up. No wood burner. Looking forward to Friday. Hate wishing time away.

And the power is out again. Lasted only three hours this time. They said Abilene is officially out of water. I don't know what they're doing.

Sigh. Put teachers and educators in the next batch of vaccines. Done. Get the kids back in school.
But even then who knows. Someone might bring covid home to someone else. Lawsuits. Etc.

How teaching our kids isn’t essential is beyond me. The kids are really hurting.
