Granny's gone and done it again

do you know the cause ?
Not exactly. I mean, I don't have a diagnosis yet, but it seems to be a weak or damaged tendon. Could be a nerve, I guess. Hurts like hell when I move it the wrong way, and shoots fire and electricity up my leg now, drops me to the floor and makes me scream. I don't know if that's tendon, nerve or both.

They can't get gas if the power is out.
Seems it's hit and miss. The entire grid is stressed and they are doing the rolling blackouts. Some had their power go out and never got it back, some have full time power. I guess the grid infrastructure was not designed to work in such cold temps.
Something that important shouldn't be so fragile.
Do you know when its supposed to warm back up there ?

They do rolling blackouts to deal with heat in the summertime, they said on the news, but they see that coming and prepare for it. This was unexpected. Tx does not get this kind of cold. Or hasn't in 100 years. You can't prepare for something you've never experienced and didn't see coming.

In Pert's area, not expected to get above freezing until Friday. But that means low 40s. The generators that make the electricity are apparently frozen. Hopefully a small warm up will enable them to get the power back on.
