Did you happen to have a scratch on that leg?
Quite the coincidence. May just be that one area of skin is more sensitive than other areas. If somebody had a reaction to a change in laundry detergent, wouldn't it be in more than one place?
Switched our detergent and the same day we switched it, I did a load, and put on clean pants. Soon afterwards I began itching. but its only one one part of my leg, down my leg. Not anywhere else. I'd think it also be on my T-shirt, and other things.

I found out decades ago that I cannot use dryer sheets. Shirts and jeans were fine. Undies a big no no.![]()
Hives is an allergic reaction. Back of your leg has more contact when you sit or maybe crossing your legs. It's a mystery. Doesn't sound too serious, but you can get sensitized to some allergens and the reactions become more severe with each new contact.nope.
maybe its a bug bite ?
i have no idea why a detergent or a food reaction would stick only to the underside of my leg, and not spread throughout my body
