Granny's gone and done it again

last night I was tired so i got ready for bed, and suddenly I wasn't tired.. so I thought.

I thought about the Lone jack war, and how it was on the land of my grandmas old house. How I saw weird stuff there, ghosts maybe? Strange stuff happened at that house. But it was grandmas house, and I always felt safe. I miss that house, she moved.

And how guilty i was for not spending more time with my great grandma before she passed. I don't want to do the same with my living great grandma. She just got her vaccine and I am so exited to see her again. I got those live saver mints from the store because they remind me of her. Whenever we went to her house, she had tons in her purse. Always willing to share.

Thats all i thought about, before I passed out, LOL. Usually my head is empty, but I thought I'd share my thoughts, got nobody else to share them with.
😊 Those are good thoughts, DL. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your elders while you have them. Ask them questions. Take notes or record their memories. You'll be glad to have them. You can pass them on to your kids and grandkids. I talk to the grands I'm raising, but they don't listen. They think I'll always be here.

I don't have any Grandparents let, and only my Mom is left. She has Alzheimer's.

yeah, I just feel like I don't know her too well, and i'm shy to talk. I don't see her as often as I'd like to. I go to my grandmas nearly every weekend, but i barley see my great grandparents. I wonder what stories she has to share. I know she'd be happy to, If I'd just speak up. My bad.
