Usually they wait until after the dogs are claimed for puppies, but we "claimed" deacon at 5weeks6 weeks was common spay/neuter in Detroit
Really am. Gonna be a super early AM at the office tomorrow too - it's more efficient for me to enter the actual time into the system at work - there is a lag with the software doing it remotely - so I want it done before Wednesday noon so I can run my reports, do my counts to see how many envelopes I need to stuff and let the other admin be a second set of eyes before payroll gets actually run (usually Thursday when the spirit moves the boss lady - so frustrating, I wish she'd let me run payroll itself more often, I know how to do it, and it gives other admin and soops time to sort out the checks before the guys show up at 5am on Friday. But she is the controller and likes control. sigh. Though I may put my foot down. She can wait til the actual first to run AP. If that means she's running AP and payroll on the same day, honey badger don't care. The freaking BossMan and VP didn't get invoices to me until Monday...sooo....What a pretty GP Star. Sounds like your working your tail end off.
In Tucson, too.6 weeks was common spay/neuter in Detroit
Wow, I remember with Peach it was just "make sure she's fixed before she hits 6 months or else we'll come after you"
Goose I'm fully intending on waiting a bit. Want him to finish growing first.
That seems to be a common theme with the other shep people in my breeder's facebook group, but I did get Goose first, and plan on getting a girl in a few more years....and don't really have a good way to keep them separated when she comes into heats and such, so I'd rather have him fixed and not worry about it.I will probably not alter a male
with a female prolly 1-2 years depending on the breed I choose
all mine were around 4 months except Frosty. She was pregnant when I got her and I got her spayed not knowing it. I still feel bad about thatI got Gracie from the breeder, so I think she was 3 or 4 months.
