Granny's gone and done it again

When you make/say leg of lamb I am picturing a whole leg? Is that right and if so how do you cook it?
It's a different cut than the kind my mom used to cook. Says something about partial bone on the package.
Maybe smear on some chopped garlic and rosemary in olive oil and roast it. Roasted potatoes and carrots. I'm not sure. Have to look through some recipes and see.
