I did the same thing here from Mi. LOL I knew it was home as soon as I seen it. Took me a couple yrs though.
Sounds like a nice sized flock to me !

This is much better, we used to have over 100 chickens,turkeys and ducks. Plus, we had two pigs that turned into 6 or 7 , it was a crazy time.

Well, the car will be in the shop until at least Monday. They had to order parts. This is apparently a rare problem, to have the electronic parking brake freeze up. Service guy looked up my car and found an active extended warranty for the problem... so (hopefully) some or even all of the repair cost might be covered.

I have a yearling BJG I like vrry much. I had one a few years back named Elvis I also liked. Great breed, IME.

I actually wanted Black Australorps but I only wanted 7 total. 6 pullets and 1 cockerel but all the hatcheries charge an extra fee for anything under 15 chicks so I found these JBG at my local feed store. I had to get straight run so I ended up getting 10 hoping for more pullets than cockerels.
