Well I found some baby mice in the compost bin when I was getting compost to amend the hillside.

yes they got fed to the chickens. Yes I’m a horrible person. Already have too many field mice running amok in my chicken area.

y’all I’m burnt out. It was so much easier when hubs didn’t get home til six. Now he gets home at four (my from home hours are generally 2-6) sits down and watches YouTube (I usually do my work at the kitchen table so...yeah. I get to deal with it) needs me to go with him to the mailbox to get something he ordered from Amazon (god forbid he just take goose and go) what’s for dinner can’t be bothered to help make dinner or do any cleanup or anything.
It almost makes me want to go back to full time at the office...but that comes with its own level of bull tweety.

Dug some holes where I will plant my geraniums. Cleaned 2 brooders. Will spray them tomorrow, let dry and put the young birds in there, they need more space.

I need to take a picture of my iris if it ever stops raining. LOL

Pulled a whole bunch of weeds. Need to put them in the Mule trailer and get rid of them.

And I moved a bunch of grow outs from the brooder to the grow out coop. Gotta check and see if they went back in the coop after being in the run.

Yay!! Finally after 1.5 months we've got rain!! 0.7 inches fell last night.. not bad for a semi-arid climate...

Chookies not very happy though...

We are in for several days of rain starting some time tonight, wicked storms also. I would share if I could!
