Do you take care of husband by yourself? Do you have backup or respite? That's quite a challenge. I took care of a dear lady with Alzheimer's for a while. Her daughter was terminal with oral cancer. After a while another daughter came to help, then two more sibs. We had our hands full caring for both of them. I loved those ladies so much. But I could never have done it alone. No one can!

At least its just a week. A long week no doubt. Tom wandered off on me once . He decided he was going to wait in the car for me and the car was just right there! I never knew what happened exactly but some man found him looking lost and led him back to us. Scared the daylights out of me. I am the one normally getting lost and losing the car.
No guarantee he would keep it on. My aunt had one of those panic buttons to wear around her neck for in case she fell. She would take it off to shower. Guess where she fell down and broke her arm.
