If it makes you feel better.... I have four boxes and five broodys, so every box has a broody, and two broodys are sharing one. So now I have every box with a broody and everyone else screams all day long cause they don't have a place to lay.

My cat is demanding I scratch her neck. She's been mad and not speaking to me for 2 days cuz I took her to the vet. So good night. I have to go mend fences with her. ❤

My cochins are broody 24/7. I break them, then they go broody a week later. It's a constant battle.

Truvy is my first broody and I'm waiting to see if she gives up or not before I put her in jail

mostly because I don't want to deal with a chicken in jail RN

right now its a battle of "don't loose your fingers" as I try and shove her off the nest until everybody is done laying so I can lock the coop.

then she stands outside the coop and screams so I really cant win
