I've got a chicken soup with dumplings on for dinner. Just waiting for The Man to show up so we can eat. And a peach cobbler The Kid made last night (I supervised) we'll have with ice cream. He's always asking me to make stuff, time he learns to make it himself. Right???

I made little dumplings this time and over half of them disappeared into the soup and were soggy. I like them better when they are like biscuits inside.

I have a whole frozen chicken since Christmas its been in the freezer. I know I cant cut it up and no one wants baked chicken. They do love the dumplins though.
