No. Crossbreed to introduce the genes I want. Then you concentrate the desired genes to create your own new breed. The same happens in dogs. It's not like breeding so called designer dogs. Mix 2 breeds together and suddenly you have a new breed. It takes time to produce the offspring and then select the ones with desired traits and breed those together. You know this. I am not going to argue about it.

The are cute, do rabbits have pedigrees? I know in cats you can breed anything to anything.

I had a marvelous dream last night. It involved ceramics and glass creations. Decided to sell most of my chickens, all of the rabbits, and start my ceramics again. Hoping hubby will like the idea as much as I do.

It will be much easer not watering all those pens. You will just Keep your goats?

No, I will keep some favorite chickens, and maybe 3 rabbits. And my dogs, cats, and fish.

howdy all. Sorry about the last 2 days, Think I ended up with heat something. Spent over 6 hours mowing on tues and then most of yesterday dealing with a major pissy mood and headache. Plus having to fix a screen door, replace an ac and "other stuff"

I do have some GREAT NEWS tho. I hadn't mentioned it as I didn't want to jinx myself BUT sold Ceres and Chaos to a gal in Wy. I just need a downpayment check and then will schedule a vet appointment and delivery date. We will be splitting the cost of gas.
