He grew about 8" in the last year or so. Bracing may have helped if they caught it during his growth spurt. I think it's probably too late now. But I guess we shall see.

Coffee is an irritant. Can you sip on clear liquids like 7Up, ginger ale, anything like that, instead? Do you have any marshmallows in the house? They can help with diarrhea, believe it or not. Try two or three of the big ones if you have any.

Both of those things are probably true, but they are temporary. A twisted spine is forever.
