Hi, Jane. On that dish you posted a pic of ... It had cornbread, peas and I think okra ... I know the peas were from your garden ... But what kind of peas were they? I was surprised they were not bright green but kind of brownish in color.

Oh thats very interesting...did he just all of a sudden become sick? No other symptoms?

Over a few days, his comb got limp and pale. He started shaking his head which makes me think ear mites. Ivermectin should help if that's the cause.

What kind of ivermectin did you buy. The injectable. ?

No, pour on. One drop. I dosed Fudge too, just in case.

I ate one egg today w a piece of toast. Then while we were in walmarts I cracked open a chocolate milk so I could take my PP and that went down good. I dont want to push my luck so thats all I will eat today

If you think you have food poisoning, not eating can starve out the little nasties causing the problem. Very important to stay hydrated. Small sips of clear liquids are best. (Chocolate milk is food for them, so a no-no)

I don't think it's that severe, and when GirlChild got dx'd with it several years ago they told me bracing does no good.

Son of a friend of mine has scoliosis. Dr said they don't do bracing any more. They measure the severity of the curvature, and if it gets to a certain point, they do corrective surgery. Lucky for him (he's an adult now) he didn't need the surgery.

Just read that thing about peroxide. Once read something saying it's not a good idea to put peroxide in ears, that it can burst your eardrums? Would check with Dr first. I know we're not supposed to use it on open wounds any more, but it's great for getting blood stains out of fabric.

So is salt water. Lifts red blood cells off.

And I have to take The Kid to St Louis Wed to see an orthopedic surgeon. He has scoliosis.

My husband has scoliosis too.
