$30.00 & s&h for one branch for fish tanks. So if you trim it dont toss the branches, sell them!

Thats pretty hot! We got one pot of flowers, mainly because I love the look they bring! Really want to spice up our house a little, do a little cleaning, planting (maybe?), and tidying.
I have wanted to paint in the house for a while now. No help or energy.

We have a manzanita tree as well...its at the very border of our lot.
My bro had a manzanita tree (I think) when he lived in Tucson. It dropped little yellow blossoms that carpeted the area beneath it. Then ants would come and carry them away to their nests. The blossoms would appear to be marching, marching away, and by the end of the day not one was to be seen. Wait, not manzanita. That wood you smoke chicken with, a barbecue wood ... help me out, somebody.

Granny, I canned 6 quarts of soup yesterday, today I'm cutting & packing 6 more jars to can in the morning, I don't trust myself to can late in the day, I might forget to do one of the steps or lose focus & let the pressure get to high.
Do you pack raw veggies into the jars? Do you add seasonings? This sounds so good!

I could use some happy stories too.

I have a little one...
In June the Manzanita took a cue from the chickens and started molting. There were little curlicues of peeling bark on the trunk and branches. I thought it looked really cool and tried to get some good pics.

I noticed some of the branches had lost their curlicues in places and it made me curious. Why were those specific sections of those particular branches bare?
I was out to solve another mystery of nature.

The answer came the day after I took the pics. A family from down the road was out for a stroll and I heard their little 4 yr old calling to his mother to "come see this!" Spying through the fence, I saw Little Romeo (that's really his name) on the driveway under the Manzanita... and with his index finger extended thusly👆he was slowly running his finger down a branch, popping off the curlicues and watching them flutter to the ground. "Mama, Mama! Look! You have to try this! It's sooo satisfying!" (He really said that!)

Mom came up, with younger brother Wyatt in the stroller, to witness Romeo denuding my manzanita. "Try it Mama! It feels so good!" She indulged him for a minute or two, then they continued their walk. But that few minutes of sheer joy made a big impression on me. I'm smiling just thinking about it.
4 yr olds have a unique outlook on life... so many exciting new discoveries out there! It renews your spirit to be around their joy and amazement. I hope we all keep a bit of that awe in our hearts and get a chance to feel it and share it often. Go Romeo!
Love this!

Yep, outside. I will get pictures once the temp is slightly cooler.
Hoping it will be a great addition for photo shoots. Still have to transplant it, but hoping it grows nicely. Not sure what type it is...it was in the pre-annual section.
