oh, guess who got complimented by the district manager several times yesterday? I didd.. safe to say I'm well liked. Its such a confidence boost to be liked in a situation. Usually I'm quite the outcast.

DM asked me if i helped somebody who was lingering by the register, I said yep! he's been helped. she said "of course he's been helped. you're avary. you're amazing."

also got complimented for my multitasking skills, as I was dressing buns, training a new guy, and working register.

also my Gm was talking with her about an employee who went behind their backs and from what I heard "should of called first".. my gm said "avary will always call me. she's the best"... then he told me about how my raise was approved! DM said "You deserve it avary. we're lucky to have you"

I just wanted to brag on myself for a second because I thought I would be horrible at this job. I had no hope in myself. My parents beat me up for days leading up to my first day telling me i'll get fired because i suck. now I am one of the most favorited, and valued employees. suck it parents, and suck it past avary. I'm doing wonderful

I feel so acomplished with myself right now. Its just a job. Everybody should be well liked at their job. I'm nothing special, I'm just doing my job. I'm NOT special, its just something I never thought I could do.I thought id break under the pressure. Instead, under pressure I see myself working harder.

OH and power went out this morning for 1/2 hour or so. the FLIPPING utility company does NO have their number in the phone book. NO AMUSED !!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, Grannyland! I'm seldom up this morning but a call from the Post Office roused me (I was awake, just not moving yet). The chickies are here! The chickies are here! 100% survival on arrival (Cackle Hatchery), I dipped beaks in sugar water and they all RAN to the feed and are gluttoning out. Looks promising!
