Yes but can be worth it when you think about it. If you pay rent long term, you are just making somebody else's house payment for them. Eventually you are out that money with nothing to show for it. Once you are ready to settle down, home ownership can be a good investment.

I like Golden Oldies. 60's and 70's. What my son called Classical music, lol.

Thats what my dad says. He also says that its better to rent out houses than sell.
