Granny's gone and done it again

As far as the truck crash, it was in the parking lot. I was driving behind the guy and he pulled into a spot on the left. I started driving on to find a spot. He decided to back up into a special spot for guys in the army. I guess he never looked. I hit the brakes and laid on the horn, but he didn't stop. Ugh.

I walked right past it because it was between a box and the wall. On my way back, I saw it and kept on going! Ran and got a shovel. About 30 minutes later, the body was still moving!
There's an old saying that no matter when you kill a snake, it won't stop writhing till sundown. Sure seems like it sometimes! How big was it, Cap?

I hope he made up to you

I am hoping to, as well! Have not had them before. Decided on these instead of Barred Rocks becaise of the combs. I think Rocks lay bigger eggs, don't they? Hope I don't regret my choice... But after my BJG suffered frostbite last winter, I don't want birds with big combs again.
Idk.

Just look at her cuteness

You would kill a copperhead with an axe? (not that I forget you have literally wrestled with snakes before 😳)
An axe, a hatchet, a shovel, whatever it takes. Don't want it slithering around where someone can step on it unsuspecting. Or it can bite one of my dogs, eat my eggs or kill a chicken. Sorry, no, if I see a venomous snake I am going to deal with it immediately. I will freak out later.

Idk, I didn't stretch it out because it was still wriggling. About 2 feet I would guess. I will check tomorrow.

Dominiques are amazing birds. Supposed to have better temperaments than plymouth rocks. And IMO they're just so much prettier and more elegant looking.
