Granny's gone and done it again

Nugget bit me. Not hard, didnt break skin. He has such terrible knots all down his back and I dont know what to do.

I had a stray Persian cat for a few years. She matted horribly and was in awful shape when I found her. I used the small scissors on my pocket knife and trimmed and trimmed... right next to the skin. Finally got the whole thing off... it was a solid mat of hair, 2" wide, 1.5" thick and the length of her back. Poor girl. She felt better getting it off.

You have to get the mat off. It hurts him.

I would imagine that hurts. Like his hair being constantly pulled on . Maybe the vet can relax him enough to shave it?

Nugget never bonded with anyone here. He is a loner for sure. He comes to you when he wants food but never for pets.

Henry is like that. He doesn't sit on laps or want more than a pat or two. #2 will pick him up and mess with him. Henry tolerates it, but doesn't enjoy it. He's friendly, wants to be in the room with you, just not cuddly like Ming.

same with Robert and Nugget. I feel for him because I feel like he just cant trust ya know?
