Morning, I have lots to do today and no motivation. I need to clean the coops up. Have a few rotten busted eggs in nest boxes. The chicken stopped laying for like a week and I stopped checking boxes since they were half bald. Lucky me, now I have a mess.

Ugh if anything I want away from ca neighborhoods. Yeah we got some space here (an acre) but off leash places are few and far between where I’m at and any nearby ones are too busy with idiots. I miss my farm roads and paths I could take peach on out in acme. I miss the hugeness of nose hill park in Calgary. I miss being able to drive an hour and being in the mountains. I MISS CREEKS AND RIVERS AND WATER. (Sorry ocean, youre cool and all but I love the freshwater streams)

I miss green things.

edit. Though I know if we moved to Washington I’d be missing some sun time. I mean would be amazing to live where the sun wasn’t constantly trying to kill me but…constant rain ain’t that great for the mental state either.

I want to leave california because of the politics. They are driving all the middle class out.

We’re…maybe an hour from ocean? Traffic pending lol. Less? 45 minutes? Ish? Mountains….sigh. There’s “mountains” nearby but…they’re nothing like my Rocky’s.

I still have my citizenship and could easily move back. Hubs would be a bit more of a problem which could be easily fixed since he is not only married to me but he’s one of the “desired” trades (heavy duty mechanic) however….has no desire. He wants to be closer to the ocean, not further away. Which would mean the outrageously expensive end of British Columbia which we couldn’t afford anyway or the maritimes which…not really feeling east coast life lol.

My mom told me that back in her day, there were milk delivery services who deliver milk every morning! Sounds like a really well-knitted neighborhood! I wish I could dream about going back in time!
