Granny's gone and done it again

howdy all, watching Thinner. Pretty good movie. I have seen it a couple times but nada on today. I have the ham hock which magically turned into neck bones :confused:simmering and getting ready to add the greens. then cornbread (I hope) and done.
Soup beans are a little bitter. I like a splash of catsup in mine. It seems to take that out. Wish I had bought some taters to fry.

Hope your meal turns out good. Sounds like it will and Granny, any time you get advice from me you take it with a grain of salt. I've got a cast iron constitution. I just grew up that way

everything!
Soup beans are on in the crock pot. Never made them there and guessing on the water amount.
Beans in the crock pot had a warning a couple of weeks ago. The heat is not high enough to convert a toxin that is in beans unless they are pre cooked before going into the crock pot.

It is not too dangerous but can give you the trots!
