SD is normally an acronym for Spasmodic Dystonia. It sounds like her headaches could be triggered by muscle spasms, maybe? Sorry I was delayed with this. I really am sorry she is in pain.

SD is step daughter. Theres a lot of them here to learn. theres even a thread about it.

no its some sort of developmental disorder.

Oh, I sure hope the botox is helping. He should try dysport if the botox isn't working at any point. Dysport is just another form of botox. An EMG machine should always be used when the shots are given for best effect. I wish him well with his treatment.

Developmental coordination disorder (DCD) is a lifelong condition that makes it hard to learn motor skills and coordination. It's not a learning disorder, but it can impact learning. Kids with DCD struggle with physical tasks and activities they need to do both in and out of school.

And they are the sweetest of kids.

Thank you. We lived in Mi. when he received treatment. When we moved here to In. things changed. No special needs places around. So the treatment stopped. I live on a hill though and he keeps his stretches up pretty good. I think this is why he wont learn to drive. He passed the written test then refused to learn how .

Ohhhh...I was thinking it was a referral to what she had been diagnosed with. I have used the other acronyms, but I forgot about stepdaughter being one LOL.

My son is high functioning autistic. He is smart as a whip in book learning things but he has never wished me a happy birthday.

maybe. I take him where he wants to go. He has a helper that comes once a week too
