That's what happened to my husband's first wife. Bipolar. It sure was hard on those kids of his when I came along. Death puts the mom on a pedestal.

They finally did come around to talk about how bad she was. She wasn't being nice to them in the end. Scott had told me that he had said goodbye to "his" Karlene a long time before she passed.
