Mine would jump where the opening was for the heater, or whatever else I needed it for. I would find some on the floor, or, I wouldn't find them at all. It was a mystery.

well, got the mower to the barn. Still needs a starter Im pretty sure. Bought a battery at wal marts for $25.00 . they also charged $12.00 core charge.
Twisted my ankle walking out there. Its not too bad though. I can still walk, it just hurts.

Granny, you said that battery was leaking. I'd put it in a plastic tub to transport it. The acid will ruin anything it touches.
